The MINTO US Open Pickleball Championships will be televised this Friday, May 20th at 7pm eastern, and again Monday, May 23rd at 7pm eastern. This national TV coverage on the CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) will bring pickleball to over 50 million subscribers. CBSSN has announced two air times; call your cable provider to make sure you get the channel. The telecast will feature the Men’s Pro Doubles Finals with highlights from the Women’s and Mixed Finals. Sounds like a great time for a Pickleball Party or if you’re solo, as I always joke with my dad, have a party with chip and dip!
This is big news for the pickleball community, and everyone is so excited for the sport to be on national TV. Here is a great reminder from the US Open Pickleball Championships founders “Remember, we are in the beginning stages of pickleball being televised. We only have one hour this year. I encourage you, after the broadcast to write in to CBSSN http://www.cbssportsnetwork.com. If the response is good and fans give feedback to their cable provider, hopefully our air times can increase. Thanks!”
Wow! It’s bringing Pickleball into the big leagues. We may eventually see it in the Olympics.
Love the news! Can’t wait till I’m playing on there. LOL.
Great job. Now if it is televised in Canada would be better
Great post jennifer! Looking forward to the show.
